The RAIDO consortium held its 5th Plenary Meeting on 7-8-9 October 2026 in Seville, Spain, hosted by project partner AYESA. Partners joined both in person and online for three days of presentations and discussions on the project’s progress and the activities remaining before its completion in December 2026.
With RAIDO entering its final months, the meeting provided an opportunity to review technical developments, discuss progress across the pilot applications and coordinate the final steps towards delivering the project’s results.

Reviewing Technical Progress and Pilot Applications
Partners shared updates on the RAIDO platform, focusing on the integration of its different components and the technical work remaining before the project’s completion.

A key part of the discussions focused on RAIDO’s four pilot applications in energy, precision agriculture, healthcare and robotics. Partners reviewed the progress of the pilots, their evaluation activities and the remaining work needed to complete testing and validate results.

The meeting also covered developments in trustworthy and human-centered AI, including explainability, fairness, ethical considerations and approaches to making AI models more efficient.
Exploitation and Sustainability of Project Results
Partners also discussed how RAIDO’s research results could be used beyond the project’s lifetime. The discussion covered the business and sustainability plans developed for the project’s Key Exploitable Results (KERs), including opportunities for their future use and development.

Discussions also addressed how feedback from the pilot applications can support the exploitation plans and how the project’s results can be promoted through the European Commission’s Horizon Results Platform.
Communication, Dissemination and Next Steps
MINDS presented the progress of RAIDO’s communication and dissemination activities, including the project website, social media, newsletters, press releases, scientific publications and participation in events.

The discussion also covered stakeholder engagement, the remaining communication activities and the preparation of the final D1.2 – Report on Business & Dissemination Activities.
As the project approaches its completion, the consortium will focus on finalising the platform and pilot activities, and completing the remaining deliverables.
The RAIDO consortium would like to thank AYESA for hosting the meeting in Seville and for the warm welcome. We also thank all partners who participated in person or online and contributed to the discussions.
