MetaMind Innovations (MINDS) is a pioneering deep tech spin-off from the University of Western Macedonia, established in May 2021. Founded by Prof. Panagiotis Sarigiannidis, Director of the ITHACA Lab, alongside a dynamic team of PhD students and academic colleagues, MINDS has quickly emerged as a significant innovator in cutting-edge technology.
At its core, MINDS is dedicated to delivering smart, customized solutions for critical infrastructure and Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems across a variety of sectors.
Role in RAIDO
MINDS is a valuable member of the RAIDO consortium, actively involved in a diverse range of scientific and technological tasks. Notably, MINDS takes the lead in organizing the dissemination, communication, and clustering activities for the entire project.
Furthermore, MINDS contributes its deep expertise in several state-of-the-art technologies, including Data Manipulation, Transfiguration, and Curation, Federated Data Mining, Federated Learning, Explainable AI (XAI). Beyond these contributions, MINDS also spearheads significant technical activities within the project, namely the Energy-efficient E2C deployment and Green AI Orchestration efforts.
