The RAIDO project will hold its Final Industry Showcase on 16 November 2026 at the UCL Centre for Artificial Intelligence in London, UK, as part of a joint event with the UCL UNESCO Chair on Artificial Intelligence.

Titled “AI That Works for People and Planet“, the event will bring together researchers, industry representatives, students and other stakeholders to explore how artificial intelligence can become more reliable, trustworthy and sustainable.

As RAIDO approaches its completion in December 2026, the event will offer an opportunity to present the project’s research outcomes, demonstrate its technologies and discuss their potential applications beyond the project’s lifetime.

From RAIDO Research to Practical Applications

The morning programme will focus on RAIDO’s work on trustworthy and energy-efficient AI, with presentations covering the project’s platform, tools and practical applications.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about RAIDO’s technologies and how they are being applied across four areas: energy, agriculture, healthcare and robotics.

The programme will also include demonstrations, poster presentations and opportunities to meet project partners, exchange ideas and discuss potential applications and future collaboration.

AI for Sustainable Development

The afternoon programme, organised around the work of the UCL UNESCO Chair on Artificial Intelligence, will explore the wider role of AI in supporting sustainable development and addressing societal challenges.

Discussions will cover responsible and Green AI, research, education and the use of AI for public benefit, bringing together perspectives from academia, industry and the wider community.

Together, the two sessions will connect RAIDO’s practical research outcomes with broader questions about how AI can benefit people and the planet.
