LOGOS-RI in RAIDO

LOGOS-RI (www.logos-ri.eu) is a research and innovation association dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration at the intersection of technology, ethics, and society. With a strong foundation in the social sciences and humanities, LOGOS-RI works to ensure that emerging technologies, particularly AI, are developed and deployed in a manner that is ethical, transparent, and socially responsible. Their expertise spans science communication, ethical AI governance, Open Science practices, and aligning technical innovation with EU policy frameworks.

Role in RAIDO

In the RAIDO project, LOGOS-RI contributes its extensive knowledge in ethical AI governance, Open Science, and EU regulatory alignment. Notably, LOGOS-RI serves as the Observatory Manager for the European Parliament, playing a crucial role in connecting RAIDO’s technical advancements with European policy developments in AI. This involves supporting compliance with the AI Act and promoting responsible innovation practices. Furthermore, LOGOS-RI is curating a dedicated RAIDO workshop at the IEEE CyberHumanities conference, showcasing the importance of interdisciplinary dialogue between SSH and AI research for building trustworthy, inclusive, and sustainable AI. Additionally, LOGOS-RI is organizing the Women in IT Science Bash, a public outreach event aimed at encouraging young women to pursue careers in technology and research.
