🚀The RAIDO Project Shines at IEEE Cyber-Humanities on Green Trustworthy AI in Florence

We are thrilled to report on the RAIDO project’s significant participation at the 2025 IEEE Cyber Humanities on Green Trustworthy AI for Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage event. Held in beautiful Florence, Italy, from September 8th to 10th, the conference brought together experts to explore the future of ethical and sustainable technology in the cultural sector.

The project was proud to contribute substantially to the dedicated RAIDO GTAI workshop, reinforcing our commitment to advancing responsible AI solutions. Our involvement focused on demonstrating how the latest research can lead to more sustainable, transparent, and legally sound applications across Europe.

📝 Key Contributions and Insights

The RAIDO team delivered two insightful research papers, showcasing our deep involvement in data-efficient and privacy-preserving AI:

  • “Energy-Efficient and Privacy-Preserving Federated Continual Learning for Cultural Heritage Preservation and Digital Humanities”
    • Focus: Exploring methods to train AI models collaboratively without compromising data privacy, all while ensuring minimal energy consumption.
  • “MemoryINP: Memory Enhanced Neural Processes for Understanding-Based Informed Meta-Learning”
    • Focus: Presenting advanced neural processes designed to enhance AI’s ability to learn quickly and effectively from new information, critical for complex digital humanities tasks.

🤝 Inspired by the Industrial Panel

A big thank you to the organizers and all the participants for fostering such an engaging and collaborative environment. We were particularly inspired by the dedicated Industrial Session, chaired by Gohar Sargsyan (TCS), which provided valuable insights into technology transfer and critical infrastructure applications. The panel featured leading names in technology, including presentations from UniversitĂ  degli studi Roma TRE, DARIAH ERIC, Mathema SRL, Net7, Dell Technologies, GruppoMeta, 4Science, MetaMind Innovations – MINDS, and Fondazione CR Firenze, showcasing real-world applications and future directions in AI.

This exposure to cutting-edge industrial applications reinforced the market need and real-world relevance of RAIDO’s innovations.
