Welcome to the first installment of our June update! This edition highlights some of the latest technological developments and partner contributions driving RAIDO’s vision for Trustworthy and Green AI.

From energy-efficient AI orchestration through TinyML and the RAIDO Data Lake infrastructure to the latest partner spotlight videos from Kingston University and AXON LOGIC, this issue showcases how the project continues to advance reliable, transparent, and sustainable AI solutions across diverse application domains.

RAIDO continues exploring innovative approaches that combine sustainability and artificial intelligence. Through the use of TinyML and Green AI orchestration, the project promotes the deployment of intelligent systems on low-power edge devices, reducing energy consumption while maintaining efficient performance. These technologies have the potential to support applications in agriculture, healthcare, environmental monitoring, and other domains where limited resources and connectivity present significant challenges.

The RAIDO partner spotlight series continues with Kingston University, the project’s Scientific Coordinator. In this video, Kingston University presents its role within RAIDO and highlights its contributions in areas such as Digital Twins, Generative AI, and synthetic data generation. The video also showcases how the university supports the scientific coordination of the project and the integration of its pilot activities.

The RAIDO Data Lake serves as the central data management layer of the platform, bringing together datasets, AI models, monitoring information, and analytical outputs from all project pilots. Designed to support the complete AI lifecycle, the infrastructure enables secure, scalable, and efficient data management while also helping monitor resource usage and energy consumption. The Data Lake plays a key role in supporting RAIDO’s vision for trustworthy and sustainable AI.

The latest partner spotlight video features AXON LOGIC and its contribution to Explainable AI (XAI) and feedback-based reinforced benchmarking technologies within RAIDO. The company plays an important role in strengthening transparency, trust, and reliability across AI workflows while supporting the optimisation of AI models through advanced benchmarking mechanisms.
