WELCOME TO THE THIRD RAIDO NEWSLETTER.
This newsletter will provide some brief highlights and updates regarding the progress of the RAIDO project during the previous months.
SUMMARY
The project continues to build momentum as we approach the second half of our first operational year.
We are pleased to report that we have submitted deliverable D1.1 and remain on track for our upcoming major milestones, including the preparation for Milestone 1 (D2.1) scheduled for October 2024.
EVENTS
RAIDO participated in the ICLR 2024 Workshop on Data-centric Machine Learning Research (DMLR) [link], in Vienna, Austria. There, RAIDO proudly presented the paper PRE: Vision-Language Prompt Learning with Reparameterization Encoder [paper link]. This workshop provided valuable insights into data-centric approaches to machine learning, directly aligning with RAIDO’s focus on data optimization and trustworthy AI. The participation allowed our team to engage with leading researchers in the field and explore synergies between data-centric ML research and our project objectives.

PROJECT MILESTONES & DELIVERABLES
We have completed the submission of our first deliverable D1.1 Project Management Handbook: Administration, Technical, Data, Business, and Dissemination.
Additionally, we are currently preparing for our first Milestone 1: D2.1 Availability of the Pilot Specifications, Performance Evaluation, Enabling Technologies & Requirements, with a target date of Oct. 2024 (M10). This milestone will establish the foundation for all pilot implementations by defining specifications, KPIs, requirements, and novel enabling technologies.
LOOKING AHEAD
The RAIDO team is working hard towards accomplishing its next goals and milestones, preparing publications for prestigious conferences and journals and implementing technical requirements. Some future targets include:
- Continuation of research activities across all work packages.
- Preparation for the September plenary meeting in Thessaloniki.
- Planning for upcoming workshops and conferences in autumn 2024
- Continued developments of technical components and methodologies.
